What God Did
"This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. "

When you finally peel back all the layers, you find out that "we" (humans) are part of the problem not part of the cure. Mankind is like Windows 98, we both have built in flaws. Contrary to popular (church) thinking, we at CLA don't think that "self-improvement" is the key to life. We think the opposite. We think that Jesus would have us minimize our role daily, eventually getting to the point where we don't even enter the equation.


The truth is that salvation is completely one sided. Jesus is choosing you this very moment even though you may not even be looking for Him. The truth is that your life doesn't need to get better before God can be with you. CLA is full of people who have experienced the life-changing power of God's great love.


2000 years ago, God, out of his great love for us, sent his son Jesus to fix the problem once and for all. So now people like the people that worship at CLA can have fellowship with the God of all creation. What an amazing gift. A gift that none of us even knew how to ask for.
